Morning Ruminations

I love my Saturday mornings. I wake up when I wake up, which is surprisingly early when I don’t have to be anywhere, and do the bare minimum morning abolutions then I walk down to the donut shop and get some breakfast donuts for me and dh for the weekend (unless it’s too cold or heat advisory weather, like last weekend, in which case I drive). Then I comehome and eat mine while using the computer or sitting outside. Then I clean or exercise (whichever type of day it is), and I top it all off with a shower. By this time it’s about 11 and I make sure the dh knows that he should wake up before Monday.
Yesterday was a wierd and dull day at work. We spread design review out so that we started at 11 am and ended at 11:45 then again at sbout 1-1:30 and ended at 2:30. The result was a messed up day where no one really accomplished anything. BossA was on her high horse about framing plans and SM was definsive about doing any more work. HB and I were trying to figure out what our cell needed to be doing about all of this. I worked on what I had and continued to put Lewiston off, working on it when I was between other projects, and honestly, I have plenty of other projects which are coming due without CH&co. putting their stuff on my plate. V&son stopped by to clear up some details with HB (and me too, I guess) on a couple jobs. Why am I so awkward talking to new people, especially those I can’t quite figure out? I am pretty sure that a couple of the comments they made were pretty crude. If I were sure I really would have/should have not let it go at that, even if they are some of our dealers/installers. That’s prohibited by law, and rude besides.
Oh well, it’s over now.
